Advertising and Marketing Choices

1. About this page
This page explains the advertising and marketing technologies used on optywise.com, what each one receives, and how to opt out. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Optywise USA LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, operates this website.
2. Advertising technologies we use
These are the advertising technologies in the website code today. We have not added a LinkedIn Insight Tag, a Google Ads tag or a server-side conversion integration to the site code.
| Technology | Provider | What it receives | When it loads |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meta Pixel | Meta Platforms, Inc. | A page-view event (PageView) for each page, with browser identifiers such as the _fbp cookie, and the technical information a browser sends with any request (such as IP address and browser type). The site code sends no other Meta events. | Only after you accept advertising. Before that, the Meta script is not requested. |
| OpenAI ChatGPT Ads pixel | OpenAI OpCo, LLC | Events from OpenAI's script: technical information about the script, the address and referrer of the page you are on, and a conversion event when you complete a booking on our consultation page. OpenAI's content delivery network also sets cookies on its own domain. | Only after you accept advertising. Before that, the OpenAI script is not requested. |
| Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 | Google LLC | With analytics and advertising consent denied (the default), limited cookieless pings that can include a page-view event and your consent state, and the technical information a browser sends with any request. When you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies and measures page views, engagement, referral source, approximate location and device information, and the three advertising signals (ad storage, ad user data, ad personalization) are set to "granted". Google Tag Manager is a tag management service used on this site. | On every page, before you choose. See "What loads before you choose" below. |
Attribution cookies ow_attr_first_touch and ow_attr_last_touch | Optywise (first party) | They stay in your browser. They record campaign details from the link you arrived on, such as utm parameters and an advertising click reference. Our scripts do not currently send them to an advertising provider. | Set when you accept analytics or advertising; removed when both are off. 180 days. |
3. What loads before you choose
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 load on every page before you choose, with all four Google consent signals set to "denied". No Google Analytics cookies are set while they are denied, but Google can still receive limited cookieless pings. The Meta Pixel and the OpenAI ChatGPT Ads pixel load only after you accept advertising. With no choice, Reject all or a Global Privacy Control signal, there is no request to Meta or OpenAI. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
4. How to opt out
- Cookie Settings. Use the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of any page to turn advertising off, or choose Reject all. Turning advertising off stops our scripts sending events to Meta and OpenAI immediately and deletes the cookies they set on our site. Cookies on OpenAI's own domain remain until they expire.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we keep advertising and analytics off by default for you. A choice you make in the preference center overrides this default.
- Platform ad settings. You can manage how Meta and OpenAI use data for advertising in your own accounts and in each provider's ad settings and privacy controls.
- Industry opt-out tools. The Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) offer tools to opt out of interest-based advertising by participating companies. These tools work per browser and may not cover every provider named above.
5. Sale, sharing and targeted advertising
Under some US state privacy laws, disclosing personal information to an advertising provider can be described as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, or as "targeted advertising". These technologies are off until you accept advertising, and you can turn them off at any time as described above. For your rights under those laws, and how to submit a request, see the Privacy Policy.
6. Email marketing
Commercial email communications will comply with applicable marketing and anti-spam laws, including requirements for accurate sender information, non-deceptive subject lines, a valid postal address and a functioning unsubscribe mechanism. Optywise may adopt stricter opt-in practices as an internal policy where appropriate.
7. Calls, texts and AI-voice contact
We make outbound calls, send text messages and use AI-voice contact only where the required consent exists, and we honor opt-outs. To opt out, reply STOP to a text message, tell us during a call, or email consulting@optywise.com.
